Near Pepe Aromas lives the “Sobreira Grande” cork oak, winner of the 2022 Tree of the Year in Portugal. It is an ancient cork oak, 250 years old, 12 metres tall and 6 metres in circumference — majestic and imposing, which in the middle of the montado continues to whisper stories of other times, other people, and other springs.
Join us along this path through a magnificent montado trail and discover the Sobreira Grande!
